​Dr. Prashanth Gorur is an orthopaedic consultant specializing in arthroscopy and sports injuries. Having done his medical and post-graduate training at Bangalore medical college, he went on to pursue his passion by doing a prestigious fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine in Pune and shoulder surgery training in japan. 

He is a specialist in keyhole (arthroscopy) joint preservation surgeries in the knee and shoulder. He has a keen interest in arthroplasty(joint replacement) and the management of trauma(fractures). He has a keen academic interest and has co-authored a textbook on ACL reconstruction along with pioneers and international illuminaries.

His special interest lies in joint preservation procedures like ACL & PCL reconstruction, meniscal repairs and cartilage surgeries. He practices at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain hospital, Millers road, Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru.
